PUBG Getting Banned?
The government has banned 47 Chinese apps today. The list majorly includes all the cloned version of the 59 apps that were banned earlier.
According to the sources like ANI, ECONOMIC TIMES, INDIA TODAY, and more other media, the list includes TikTok Lite, Bigo Live Lite, ShareIt Lite, HeloLite, etc.
The reason for the banning of these apps is national security and privacy violation.
According to the reports, the list may also include the famous mobile game PUBG (Players Unknown Battleground). After the announcement the twitter and other social media platforms flooded with the hilarious memes and post all regarding their opinions. Also today after the announcement the #PUBG and #Tencent are getting trending on twitter. this news also heartbroken for all the gamers and PUBG fans. also along with this, there are 250+ more apps on the radar of the Government of India.
However, the spokespersons from the union minister did not speak about it till now.
Is Pubg Chinese?
The game PUBG has been developed by BLUEHOLE which is a South Korean based company. but the one which introduced this game is TENCENT GAMES which is a Chinese multinational conglomerate and this somehow China has some shares over this and can ask the company for any kind of data that could be a threat to National Security of India also the violation of policies.
The major impact would be on the esports PUBG players and YouTube streamers who worked day and night to build their audience by there gameplay. Aso PUBG has become part of the life of many teenagers in India.
But for some people majorly Indian parents are happy with this news.
